Responsive Email Newsletter

In Web Design III during Semester 3, I put together an email marketing campaign for my fictional café brand, Sip Sanctuary, using Mailchimp. The goal? Celebrate Sip Sanctuary’s 20th anniversary with a newsletter that was just as cozy and fun as the café itself. I wanted to nail that welcoming vibe while keeping it professional and functional.

The email featured everything you’d need to know about the anniversary event, from coffee workshops and tastings to comedy performances by John Mulaney and Iliza Shlesinger (because coffee and laughs? Perfect combo). I went with a soft lavender palette and clean typography to give it a chill, inviting look that fit the brand’s vibe perfectly. Oh, and the Get Your Tickets Now button? Front and center, because no one’s missing out on this event.

This project was all about finding the sweet spot between looking good and working well. It was fully optimized for desktops and phones, so no matter where people opened it, it worked like a charm. Honestly, I’m really happy with how it turned out. It feels true to Sip Sanctuary’s personality while keeping things super user-friendly—and that’s what good design is all about.

Here it is in full.
