Print Newsletter

For my Printed Newsletter Project in Semester 4’s Publication Design II class, I had the opportunity to collaborate on a group project, designing two of the newsletter pages. I selected blue and yellow as accent colors to reflect the identity of John Abbott College, creating a fresh and cohesive visual tone. The logo for JAC Club Buzz was entirely my design, aiming for a playful yet professional vibe that complements the college’s club culture.

For these two pages, I focused on clarity and balance, showcasing engaging layouts for features like “Breaking News”and the Eco-Lifestyle section. By incorporating grid-based designs, bold headings, and dynamic visuals, I ensured the newsletter would captivate readers while maintaining readability. This project allowed me to combine creative design choices with functional communication, highlighting my ability to develop visually compelling and informative publications.
