Photobook
This project, created in Photography during Semester 3, was hands-down my favorite of the term because it focused on my beloved dog, Diva. Titled “Diary of Diva”, this photobook is a whimsical peek into one of Diva’s “fabulous” days, narrated from her perspective as if she were penning her own diary.
The concept started as “Life of a Diva” but evolved into something more intimate and narrative-driven, capturing the quirks and charm of my diva dog. Each page tells a story, combining candid photography and playful captions that bring her adventures to life. From sunbathing in her “spotlight” to joyfully sniffing dandelions or stealing the show from her sisters, Dika and Dima, every moment is filled with her sassy, lovable energy.
Using a variety of lighting, angles, and compositions, I aimed to showcase Diva’s personality in different environments, including cozy indoor spaces, the garden, and even behind the wheel of a car (she’s a better passenger than a driver). The narrative structure made the photobook feel personal and immersive, inviting readers into Diva’s world while allowing me to experiment with creative storytelling.
This project was incredibly rewarding because it blended my love for photography with a chance to celebrate my dogs. “Diary of Diva” isn’t just a photobook—it’s a heartfelt snapshot of the joy and personality pets bring to our lives. Looking back, it’s a project I’m truly proud of for capturing real-life charm in a playful yet professional way
